things like that feel like a cool breeze on the hands and stuff as
well. I was wondering that the difference in these things are in

it, was is the benefit of sahaja over those methods? Also, i wanted
to know if sahaja is the only path to freedom, or are there other but
the fact that they could take countless lifetimes to achieve makes
them a waste of time.

Just curious, though i know this is the right path right here, i
needed to know, as i see countless other modalities and energy
healings and this and that in papers and new age magazine n stuff.

Dancing with the Devil is an astonishing and timely book which works on many levels: it is a book about healing; about psychic attack and how to resist it; about Reiki; about the chakras and subtle bodies; and about the responsibilities of all who work with energy.

Pervading and unifying these strands is the author's personal awareness of the living, subtle energies which surround and pervade each and every being. In his work in healing, geopathic stress investigation, soul rescue, Reiki and energy system repair and balancing, David Ashworth interacts daily with energies of which most of us have no conception. He has come to understand that light energy continually and inevitably attracts dark forces and that one has literally to engage in battle to re-direct, and in some cases, dismantle these forces, placing them out of harm's way. The book includes astounding cases of possession by a variety of entities and beings which the author has, by aligning with the forces of light, resolved with courage and determination. David also discusses the responsibilities and needs of those who seek to raise their rate of vibration by Reiki attunement, and gives a strong warning to all who treat the subject lightly or irreverently.

"This is not just another healing or Reiki book. It is one of the very few which has tackled the sensitive, and in the main, hidden side of healing work; a side every practitioner needs to know about.

David's book is a long-overdue appraisal of the potential problems encountered in healing work and is written by a very experienced healer with a diverse experience in modalities such as Reiki, Lightwork, Geopathic Stress and Spiritual Rescue work. It is one of those quintessential books which provides insight, explanations, examples and solutions".

This is an unusual book, which I have read with considerable absorption. It addresses important topics of psychic and energy protection for practitioners, consideration of the energy effects upon students of undergoing Reiki training, as well as the consequences for Reiki students of undergoing successive Reiki attunements too quickly, overloading the coping ability of their energy system.

The author is a Reiki Master, Geopathic Stress Investigator, Professional Dowser, who has specialised in helping people with damage to their aura and chakra systems, and rescuing people from entity, sprit or demonic attacks. There are several startling and intriguing photos of such entities published in this book.

David Ashworth's book provides a thorough discussion of healing, the chakras and subtle bodies, energy, Reiki, particularly his recommendations about having fairly long periods between attunements, the degrees of Reiki and choosing a Reiki Master. A fairly lengthy chapter is presented about psychic attack, including forms of attack, entities, auric fragments, trapped spirits, possession, demons.

Additionally, psychic protection is discussed, including visualization and intent, cleansing and balancing, building a power base, using chakra stones, aura detection and crystal power.

There is a useful bibliography, as well as contact details of relevant organisations.

Some of the most interesting and valuable aspects of David Ashworth's book are his Case Studies, some of which are quite alarming, as they involve people with damage to their energy systems through psychic attack or possession, presenting usually with quite severe illness.

I am not a healer, Reiki practitioner, nor am I gifted with clairvoyance or Spirit Guides of which I am aware. However, I am somewhat aware of certain disparate elements within the Reiki field surrounding the pace and timing of Reiki training, and feel that the subjects of energy protection and relief from psychic attack are of great general interest to everyone. As for psychic attack, spirit guides, entities, demons and the like, I must adopt an agnostic position. However, as with all other aspects of energy healing, which are not easily translatable into reductionist paradigms, I remain riveted by the positive clinical therapeutic results obtained by the healers and Reiki practitioners and try not to allow my own blind spots or lack of understanding to get in the way.

Book Review

One of the topics for discussion a few weeks ago concerned protecting oneself from any 'negative' or 'dark' energies whilst practicing Reiki. I was interested in the diversity of replies and I wonder if I may share the following 'find' with you and your members, please:

I have just finished reading a book concerning potential problems encountered in healing work. The book is written by David Ashworth - a UK-based healer with considerable and diverse experience in areas such as Reiki, Lightwork, Geopathic Stress and Spiritual Rescue work

The book is called, "Dancing with the Devil as you Channel in the Light". Please don't let the title put you off - the book is not designed to scare, but is written with much love and a genuine desire to help protect our growing 'army' of healers from unwanted attention.

Known as 'the Healers' Healer', David Ashworth continues to help Reiki practitioners who have suffered, or are suffering from negative energy attachments, etc. This recent book was written following advice (and a little 'pressure', I believe!) from his spirit guides to share his knowledge and experiences with fellow healers.

In my humble opinion, David's book is very timely and is an essential read for anyone practicing Reiki or other light work on themselves or others.

PS I'm not affiliated in any way - this is a genuine recommendation. :-)

Dear David Ashworth,

Please find enclosed a cheque for your book Dancing with the Devil. The book came to us, on loan, from our friend. I have not been able to put the book down since starting to read it. It contains so many answers and information that I feel is going to help and guide us in our work with Reiki. I felt I had to write and thank you and wish you well with the book.

Dear Dave,

Firstly, an enormous thank you for your book, Dancing with the Devil... What a huge relief to read it - it really rings so true for me and makes sense of a lot of things that I have 'felt', but not been able to put my finger on.

I have done Reiki 1 and 2. I actually have done Reiki 1 three times with different masters but until about 4 months ago, I had never heard of the term thoughtform and its ramifications. Even then it was a fleeting sentence and only started making sense on reading your book

Dear David,
First of all, I would like to congratulate you on your truly remarkable book....

This book should become a standard work to read before people even start to get into dowsing any form of earth energies.... I am so grateful to you for sharing your knowledge with others like myself, who are trying to clease the earth of all bad memories, dark forces imposed on it and those forces of the earth which can be manipulated for man's own nefarious ends.

I am sure a lot of dowsers/healers will have difficulty in coping with what you have to say in this book, but there are those I know who will be very happy for all the information and insight that you have provided.

You have helped me in so many ways, bless you.

"The Kundalini is the Pure Desire within us . . . This Power of Pure Desire resides in the triangular bone. It is very important to know that the Kundalini lies above the Mooladhara Chakra in the Mooladhara. So those people who say that sex can awaken the Kundalini are absolutely wrong and are trying to play upon our weaknesses. Because Mooladhara Chakra looks after the pelvic plexus which is responsible for our organs of excretion as well as for sex. At this time all such activities stop and a person becomes innocent and then the Kundalini rises . . . To say that it gives trouble shows that the people who are doing this kind of work are not authorized, or they do not have any Knowledge about it."

How beautifully all the Chakras open and more of these threads are coming up. Now you are also told how to work it out. You know all the technical know how. . . .

Dear Kyayan...

you have spoken the truth when you said that none of
them can feel the cool breeze. If they could, they would've talked
about it. Talking about reiki, I remember this ,,master,, 5th grade or so in reiki who came to this sahaja meeting because he was all messed up.. He needed help.

First thing I observed on his face was the deep sadness...all this
years of ,,healing,, people got a heavy toll on his being. Of course, he coudn't feel any cool vibrations, and I told him he HAD to stop this nonsense with the ,,5th grade,,master-reiki...and he will feel better.

To make a long story short, all this reiki, bioenergy, healers, masters, and witches act through the left and right channels .None of them use the central channel, because they can't.

By the way, the reiki ,,masters,,can feel only the cooler energy
radiating from the patient's body, and NOT coming from their being. They also use the power of intention (right channel) to heal. Nothing new in this universe.. but now it is something new.. it's called sahaja yoga. This is the time when those with pure desire to be one
with GOD shall be rewarded for their persistence, hope, and faith. The
others will remain in the dust, enjoying their 5th grade master-reiki. (going to the 6th)

Sincerely, danny
